Modern eClaim New Training Tools

To assist your practice with a successful transition to Modern eClaim, we developed a suite of training videos and resource guides so you can become familiar with it before the older version, Classic eClaim, you’ve been using for years goes away.

VSP has moved to an updated version of eClaim on eyefinity.com. We refer to the updated version as Modern eClaim. The current version you’ve been using for years is referred to as Classic eClaim.

If your practice has not yet used Modern eClaim, we encourage you to use and become familiar with it, so you and your staff are ready when we remove Classic eClaim in Q2 of 2022.

We're committed to supporting your practice as we transition to Modern eClaim and move toward discontinuing Classic eClaim. To assist your practice with success using Modern eClaim, we developed a suite of videos and resource guides that explain how to submit various types of claims, including new Coordination of Benefits (COB) functionality. To access the new training tools for Modern eClaim:

1. Login to eyefinity.com;
2. Go to VSPOnline;
3. Click Training and Support in the left-hand navigation;
4. Click on Online Training;
5. Click the blue button Authorize Benefit to view all the resource guides and to watch authorization-related videos; or
6. Click the blue button Submit Claim to watch videos on submitting claims, submitting patient conditions, COB, and more.

Classic eClaim training videos and resource guides will still be available through a new link on the training pages outlined above.

The User Guides on the eLearn tab on eyefinity.com will also continue to be available for both Modern eClaim and Classic eClaim. To access the User Guides:

1. Login to eyefinity.com
2. Click on eLearn tab
3. Click on User Guides on the left-hand navigation
4. View all resource guides under Modern eClaim User Guides
